Dr. Jeffreys serves as the Executive Director of the Fayette County Area Vocational Technical School. He began his career at the Fayette County Area Vocational Technical School in 2000 from his most recent position as Assistant to the Superintendent at Turkeyfoot Valley Area School District.
He began his career as the Director/Instructor of the Electronics School at Fayette Electronics Institute. At Duff's Business School in Pittsburgh, he was the Admissions Coordinator/Instructor. He was the Dean of Students at South Eastern Academy, a private Aviation School. He was also a Training Instructor/Manager of Management Development with USAir. While there, he presented the attendance policy training programs that resulted in significant absentee savings. He also produced and developed the first USAir FAA mandated drug program.
Dr. Jeffreys has developed numerous specialized programs including a Needs Assessment Survey for Drug Free Schools, developed a communication model for faculty, students and parents, and was a member of the Drug Free Schools Steering Committee. He possesses a B.S. in Business/Education from Penn State University, a M.A. in Career Guidance, and an Ed.D. in Technology Education from West Virginia University. While at West Virginia University, he designed a training program on the appropriate use of the Internet within the secondary classroom, to include the enhancement and inhibition to the process. Dr. Jeffreys has been included in the Princeton Global Networks "Honors Education."
